'Meander with Morris' (and Tammy!!) was born through my many chats with visitors and how often it was mention how their are missing their dogs and other pets while away on holiday. And as Morris is a happy go lucky boy who loves sniffy walks, meeting new people, and with my knowledge and love for Christchurch this seems to be a perfect way for Morris and I to spend our days together while showing pooch loving guests our incredible city.

An easy 3km (1.8 miles) 2 (ish) hour wander around Christchurch much of which is  along The beautiful Ōtākaro/Avon River, we will be visiting Cathedral and  Victoria Squares, The Art Centre and Gallery, The CTV memorial garden, Transitional Cathedral, some of the city's incredible murals, and a piece of the Berlin wall, The official Earthquake memorial, and Bridge of Remembrance, Antigua Boatsheds finishing up at wonderful Riverside Market and Terrace for all our food and refreshment needs.

Our $5 booking fee (paid online) and an additional cash donation would be appreciated if you able as this helps me keep Morris in his necessities such as food, vet care, winter jumpers and bow ties.

Tours Available 7 days a week:

About

A Little about Tammy

I was born and grew in London, married to Mike we have three adult daughters, we emigrated to Christchurch in Sept 2000. I am business women, volunteer, family history researcher and DNA detective (and that's another story!!), wannabe gardener with a distinct benign neglect style.

Dec 2022 we moved to central Christchurch, Mike started a 3-year Bachelor of Music at Ara Jazz School (Saxophone) and I started working for part-time for the Christchurch Tram for the 2023/4 summer cruise ship season, selling tickets and helping visitors with local information and of course sharing my own personal stories of the earthquakes as well as moving to and living in NZ.  I have become known for engaging the waiting tram passengers with a sing-a-long or a bit of a disco dance in Cathedral Sq.

Life is short - Do what you LOVE!!!!
